Day trip for Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond & Whiskey from Glashow

A day spent in the land of Scots heroes, taking in the splendour of the medieval Stirling Castle and the beautiful nature of Scotland's National Park and Loch Lomond.First approch Stirling the magnificent castle dominates your view and you make your way up towards the high volcanic rock where it imposes itself upon the surrounding land. To the north is the 220ft high tower of the National Wallace Monument commemorating Scotland's great hero William Wallace. To the South is Bannockburn where, in 1314, the great Scottish warrior-king Robert the Bruce defeated the English army of Edward II. From Stirling you travel into the Highlands to an area known as the Trossachs National Park. You stop here for lunch (not inclided) in the heart of the National Park forest outside Aberfoyle, where you can enjoy the magnificent nature all around you. After lunch you 'take the high road' or back-road to Loch Lomond, at over 22 miles long, 5 miles wide at its widest point, and with 79 islands, it is Scotland's largest loch, it takes its name from the mountain Ben Lomond on the eastern shore. Following a walk out along the west highland way you travel onto the picturesque Distillery of Glengoyne, one of the leading Malt Whiskies in Scotland, where you have the option to tour the Distillery or enjoy the refreshments that are on offer at their 'Slainte Mhath Shop' Then it's just a short drive back to Glasgow at approx 18.00. Breakfast at Hotel, Later proceed to joned the Royal London Tour & Changing of the Guard with Thames River Cruise on SIC The tour begins with a panoramic drive around Parliament Square to see the magnificent Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married. To Kensington Palace, former home of Diana, Princess of Wales. We'll see the Royal Albert Hall and Albert Memorial. Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard ,We head to St James' Park and Buckingham Palace to see the colourful ceremony of the Changing of the Guard. Accompanied by a military band, a detachment of the Queen's Foot Guard march to Buckingham Palace to change with the old guard. The tour finishes at Trafalgar Square at around 12.00 noon. You will have approximately 90 minutes to explore the area.
